Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Max Payne® Alan Wake® and Death Rally® , and one of the leading independent game studios in the world is looking for a Backend Programmer to join our Digital team and help us realize our vision for the next blockbuster title on iOS.
As a Backend Programmer, you would be working on new exciting backend features and make them an integral part of our success. You’ll get a chance to work with our awesome team of programmers, designers and artists in a fast paced environment where your creative input is highly valued, on all game development areas.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in server-side development. You have experience regarding live-deployed backend systems and maintenance in a production environment. Previous experience in cloud based systems is a plus.
- Strong programming skills. You are experienced in C++, C# and/or Java and Javascript and are capable of reading and debugging code written by others.
- Solid knowledge regarding analytics and databases. Experience on using commercial analytics services is considered a bonus.
- Knowledge of backend security aspects.
- Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols.
- Fluent in English. You have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Team player. You enjoy working in a team and bouncing ideas back and forth. You’ll also have the possibility to contribute to the project outside your discipline.
- You love games. We love playing and creating games, and it would be awesome if you’d feel the same way.
